Service Terms & Guidelines

Photo Delivery

• Standard Delivery: The 72-hour timeframe aligns with industry norms, ensuring timely service.

• Expedited Delivery Options: Clearly state the additional fees and conditions for next-day and same-day delivery. Ensure that these options are realistic given your operational capacity. For example:

• Next-Day Delivery: $150-$300 depending on the event, with a discount often given if the event is a smaller one or if the request is made well in advance.

• Same-Day Delivery: $300-$600 depending on the event and the number of images.

Booking and Deposit

• Deposit Requirement: A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your event date.

• Accepted Payment Methods: We accept the following payment methods: credit card, ACH transfer, PayPal, Zelle, Venmo, Check, Money Order.

• Non-Refundable Deposit: Please note that the deposit is non-refundable. However, should you need to reschedule, we will apply the deposit to the new event date as long as rescheduling is done at least 72 hours in advance.

• Legally Enforceable Terms: As permitted by D.C. law, the non-refundable deposit is valid when stated clearly in the service agreement. Clients agree to these terms at the time of booking.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

• Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made within 7 days of the event will forfeit the deposit.

• Rescheduling Policy: Rescheduling must occur at least 72 hours before the event, subject to availability, to avoid losing the deposit.

Legal and Compliance

• Copyright: Under U.S. law, the photographer retains copyright to all images. Clients receive a usage license as outlined in this policy.

• Model Release: For commercial use of photos, we ensure signed releases are obtained for featured individuals.

• Permits: Clients are responsible for obtaining necessary permits for photography at specific locations.

Additional Information

Travel Fees

To ensure we can provide high-quality service, the following travel fees apply to locations outside of our primary service area in Washington, D.C.:

    • Within 10 Miles of Downtown D.C.: No additional travel fee.

    • 10 to 20 Miles of Downtown D.C.: $50 travel fee.

    • 20 to 30 Miles of Downtown D.C.: $100 travel fee.

    • Over 30 Miles of Downtown D.C.: $150+ travel fee, based on location, plus any applicable parking or permit fees.

• Special Requests: Please notify us of any specific event details or requests in advance.

• Model Release: For events where individuals will be photographed for commercial or promotional purposes, we may require signed model releases for prominently featured subjects.
